Explainer videos that make a product make sense

People don't abandon products they understand. Most explainer videos list features. The good ones make people feel the difference a product makes. That is a craft problem, not a budget one.

I design and animate explainer videos for agencies that need a senior motion designer on a pitch or production, and for brands that need to explain a product, an internal tool or a launch. The work ranges from SaaS product films and onboarding videos to long-running series of educational modules.

    What you get

    • Styleframes that set the visual world before animation starts
    • 2D animation, character animation and UI animation, with 3D where it helps
    • Kinetic typography for key messages, with or without voiceover
    • Master film plus format adaptations for web, presentations and social

    How I work

    Brief

We start from your script or storyboard, or shape the story together from what the product needs to say and who it is for.

    Styleframes

Key frames define characters, interface moments and color, so the direction is approved before animation starts.

    Production

Animation in After Effects, with Cinema 4D for 3D. Shared files and regular review rounds keep the team in sync.

    Delivery

Final master and the formats you need, ready for your website, a presentation or a campaign.

    Questions

    Who do you work with?

Mostly branding and design agencies that need a senior motion designer on their team, often white label. I also work directly with brands that have a clear need and someone on their side who owns the brief.

What do you need from a brief?

What the product does, who the video is for and where it will be shown. A script, storyboard or brand guidelines help, but early ideas are welcome too.

Can you work from an approved storyboard?

Yes. On Cygrid the storyboards were already approved, so we went straight into styleframes and production.

Do you work remotely or in Berlin?

Both. I am based in Berlin and work with teams worldwide, remotely by default. Briefings, reviews and calls happen in English, German or Spanish.

    Have a project like this?

Tell me what you're working on. Early ideas are welcome.
