Brief
In this project, my role as a Motion Designer was centered on defining the digital soul of the brand through micro-interactions. I focused on how the user interface moves, ensuring that every transition and element felt natural and intuitive across web interfaces and mobile devices.
I was responsible for animating everything from characters and social media content to dynamic banners, creating a cohesive visual language. By developing these small but crucial movements, I bridged the gap between static design and a high-end user experience, making sure the content wasn't just seen, but truly felt across every digital touchpoint.

01 Process
Discovery — Onwards provided the full brand system: typography, color palette, illustration style, and a verbal identity with a strong, distinctive personality.
The brand idea playful mindset as healthy mindset was the creative anchor for every motion decision.
Concept — Surreal's identity is built on controlled irreverence.
The motion language had to feel spontaneous and playful while still being precise enough to work across logo animations, banners, and social formats.
The challenge was finding timing and easing that felt loose without being sloppy.
Delivery — Full digital coverage: logo animation, social reels, stories, web banners, and social posts each format adapted to carry Surreal's personality consistently across contexts.
02 Key Creative Decision
I leaned into unexpected timing slightly off-beat motion that mirrors the brand's "Never stop playing" idea rather than defaulting to smooth, polished animation.
For a challenger brand in a traditional category, motion that feels too refined would have undermined the identity. A little controlled unpredictability kept every piece feeling true to what Surreal actually is.
